The resort of Courchevel is made up of four villages named after the altitude at which they are located (1350, 1550, 1650 and 1850) and is part of the enormous Trois Vallées ski area, which boasts more than 370 miles of pistes, the largest linked ski area in the world which makes it a place for all ski lovers. Courchevel 1850 was the first resort in France to be constructed from scratch rather than based around an existing village. Courchevel 1850 is also famous for its after ski jet set crowd and an impressive concentration of luxury Chalets per meter square.
