Meribel is found in south east France, in the heart of the Savoie region (27 mls SE of Albertville, 85 mls SE of Geneva and its airport, 110 mls SE of Lyon and its airport, 60 mls SE of Chambery and its airport).
Good for all grades of skiers, with beginners' slopes at both resort centres, a vast choice for intermediates and direct access to the extensive Trois Vallees network for the more adventurous.
The nightlife in Meribel is lively apres-ski centred on a good selection of bars, some with live music, there are 2 cinemas, 3 nightclubs and a 6-lane bowling alley at sports centre. There are also organised torchlit descents.
