Villa Laura is an exclusive and luxurious country house Villa nestling in the hills between Tuscany and Umbria. This idyllic, rustic scene has changed little since the late 17th century when the palazzo’s original owners gazed from the romantic Romeo and Juliet balconies. This luxury Villa is also a temple to luxury and comfort, offering a pool, aromatic treatments and spacious suites bedrooms.

Each of three floors has its own library, and the reading selections reflects the owner’s international taste – Secret Gardens of Napoli, the journals of Nicholas and Alexandra, a biography of Edith Wharton, Kobbe’s Complete Opera Book, a commemorative photo book about Louis Vuitton. Most of all, Villa Laura is about the breathtaking views from the hillside lawn and terraces, the colors of the eight successive ridges changing with the time of day, with a staff of twenty people that makes guests feel like home. Florentine painters spent over two years hand-painting all the walls and ceilings of this property, using the colors that most probably would have graced its original walls – pale greens, violets, yellows; inspired faux designs have been applied in each room, all of which convey the loving attention to detail guests feel everywhere. The beds are hand-wrought iron, made by local artisans and, because of their grand size and weight, were assembled only when they reached the insides of their respective rooms. All the doors and some of the wardrobes and book shelves in the house are also hand-carved by local artisans.
