Classic Villa in Lucca
The villa is located in a quaint hamlet, but 10 minutes from the center of Lucca. Lucca remains one of Tuscany’s most famous historical towns, and for good reason. Fontana is a short 30 mintues from Pisa, and 20 minutes from the coast (Forte dei Marmi and Viareggio). Not more than an hour from Fontana is Florence, the “Heart of the Renaissance.”
Villa Fontana is a stunning 14th Century country house, recently restored to its full, original glory. This classic, elegant villa has a very large, well-appointed garden with a private lake, mini golf course, tennis court, and a large heated swimming pool (7x15 meters or 23x49 ft). Also poolside are sun loungers and other luxury seating for 14. Naturally, adjacent to the pool is its poolhouse, where we find Fontan’s own gym, sauna, showers with changing rooms, and minibar.
