Siena's Landscape
Approached from the road through the Chianti countryside, this wonderful property begins with a straight 400-meter-long driveway bounded by a trimmed hedge with a sequence of olive trees leading to a rotunda surrounded by secular cypresses. The rotonda is a very special space which has a 360-degree view ranging from the city of Siena to the vineyards and hills of Chianti. It was chosen by Bernardo Bertolucci for an important sequence in his film Stealing Beauty. With a driveway running through the olive grove and with a pergola path the rotonda is connected to the main house, the medieval tower, and the guest house nestled on a round hilltop surrounded by vineyards and olive groves and enjoying stunning views. Torre al Poggio, owned by one of Italy’s greatest families who lovingly restored and converted it into their own private residence, has been designed, furnished, and fitted to a very high quality.
The property offers 600 square meters (6480 sqft) of living space The estate is 300 meters (987 feet ) above sea-level. 2Double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms 3Twin bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms 5Bathrooms 1Living room 1 Dining room 1Kitchen 1Study room Carport for 5 cars
